Maggie hears the bounce in Zach's step before she sees his face. She raises a brow incredulously. (Mad extra.) Upon glancing up, she's struck by Zach's twinkly eyes. Broad nose. Spritely disposition. Ahh, he's a baby...
"Just this please."
"Sure," she replies. Maggie takes the book with a manicured hand, scanning the price tag. The amount pops up on her tablet. (A book on folklore? Interesting...) Eyes snapping back to Zach, she taps into her divine sight. It's prying, yes. But Maggie likes knowing who steps foot in her shop. She won't snoop if the customer browses without buying; yet, anyone is fair game is they make it to her damn register. Information about Zach flutters through her mind.
Magical human. Lawful good.
Perfect. The Prophet offers the boy a half-smile. "Fifteen thirty." She cuts a glance at Arie through the stacks. (Are they peers or some shit like that?) Maggie studies Zach for a beat. Obviously, the twins need help figuring something out. It'd be ideal for Zach to grab his book and leave. Still, Maggie can't help herself...
"You been in Singapore long?"
(Are you protecting yourself? Being careful?)
